High profile TV shows are constantly engraining themselves into pop culture. Oftentimes, the filming location of those shows become just as iconic as the characters! Here are some interesting facts about three of the most recognized houses on TV.

Monica’s apartment on Friends

How Monica Geller was able to afford her spacious New York apartment is something we’d all like to know. Especially for those of us who watch the show online in an overpriced glorified shoebox. But we’re not here to talk about real estate. Although, we kind of are…

Walter White’s house is constantly trashed with pizza

TV sensation “Breaking Bad” has inspired its fans to trespass on private property to recreate a famous part of the show. They throw pies of pizzas on the roof of the main character’s house. Walter White, former chemistry teacher who started dealing with illegal substances, lived there with his on-screen family. Sounds like fun, right? Well, not if you really live there.

The real homeowner, Joanna Quintana, is pretty unhappy with the trespassers and the waste of good food. Quintana lived with the pizza rain for seven years but ended up building a huge 6-ft. tall iron fence to make sure she doesn’t have to scrape any cheese off her roof ever again.

The Simpsons House IRL

In a competition held by Pepsi, people competed to win a life-size replica of the Simpsons home. They could also opt for $75,000, but we all know what we would rather have… The house is a nearly exact 3-D copy of 742 Evergreen Terrace, the same house where Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie live on the show. The details are all there, including the cat’s food bowl and the crooked picture!

The eventual contest winner didn’t want to move to Henderson, Nevada, and opted for the money instead. The person who ended up living there is probably used to fans trying to get a peek inside.
