What can the New Ipad do that an Android Ice Cream Sandwich can not do?

I’m not really seeing where the appeal is here. Once Samsung releases their screen on their Android tablet then what would the point be of buying a more expensive less functional Ipad?
I can’t think of one thing the Ipad can do that an Android tablet can’t.

1. The way the apps are designed. There are so many resolutions and sizes of Android tablets that not all apps work the same way on every tablet, or even as well on every tablet. This lack of unanimity is eliminated with the iPad.

2. iPad apps are often more functional than their Android counterparts

3. iPads have the Apple store if you need help. Where do you go if you need help for your Android tablet?

4. The iPad doesn’t need all the apps the Android tablet needs to keep itself running at optimal performance.

5. More Apple tablets have been sold than tablets of other companies, meaning there are more apps, accessories, etc. made for them as opposed to others.

6. The iOS system is more integrated. (iCloud. I just upgraded from an iPad 2 to an iPad 3. To get everything, texts, songs, emails, apps, tones, backgrounds, photos…etc. I had on my iPad 2 onto my iPad 3, all I had to do was restore from iCloud. Everything started downloading right away. I left my iPad sitting there for an hour or two and when I came back, everything was there so I could start off with my iPad 3 where I left off with the iPad 2.)

7. UI is easy to use. Easier than Android tablets, making it friendlier for the masses, especially for business use.

There are loads of reasons one would purchase an iPad. And nowadays, an iPad is not less functional than an Android tablet. It does everything an Android tablet can (yes, even flash too. Just download the right app to do it), but with a smoother user experience. There is a reason when big businesses, like hospitals, provide tablets for their employees they choose iPads; one has to do less explaining to get their employees up to speed so they can use it and get back to work.

Android tablets are great, I’m sure, or there wouldn’t be so many avid fans. But, there are a lot of people who want the absolute easiest way to get from point A to point B so they can get right into what they are doing. No thinking about the amount of apps they have open, no virus worries, no rooting… just pulling the device out of the box and getting to work.
