Bluelounge CableBin in Light Wood

I have something to admit. When I first revealed our office, there was one area I did my best to cover up—the cord corner. I’m sure you know the spot; that place where the wifi, cable, power cords, and miscellaneous wires all get together and throw a party for the dust bunnies. In the past, I’ve done my best to distract from it with an awkwardly-placed potted plant, but the corner in our office was out of control. I guess that’s what happens when you put a record player, router, speaker, and four computer chargers in one place.

It became commonplace for me to ask my friends about their cord solutions until I took to the web in a desperate online search. When I came across this CableBin, at the end of a Googling marathon, I think I actually said, “Where have you been all my life?”

The concept is simple: The back of the bin has a slit that runs down the middle, allowing you to pile cords and strips to your heart’s content, then run them out the back-end. I was thrilled to discover it was large enough to hold our entire wifi router, a power strip, and several cords. Placed with the discreet seam facing the wall, you would never know the mess within.

The seam along the back allows cords to be threaded through.
