Are you looking to buy a new home? Chase is at it again with another great bonus this summer. Through August 6, if you get a new mortgage through Chase Mortgage, you will receive 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points. Keep in mind that, currently, only cardholders of Chase Sapphire, Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve are eligible for the promotion. Additionally, a cardholder must already own any of the above-mentioned cards before May 7, 2017 to qualify for this promotion.

The great thing about Chase Ultimate Rewards points is that they are incredibly flexible – they can be exchanged for travel or gift cards, or if you like, redeemed for cash.

As with any promotion, it’s always a good idea to read the fine print. Although this particular offer is pretty straightforward, here are a few things you need to take note:

  • The offer is for new, residential first mortgage loans. It doesn’t apply to a mortgage refinance loan
  • The offer is non-transferable
  • The offer may be discontinued any time without any notice from Chase
  • You will receive your 100,000 bonus points ten weeks after closing the mortgage

If you want to apply for a Chase mortgage and receive your bonus, you can fill out a mortgage qualification request.

Or, if you prefer, you can call 1-866-712-1282 and speak with a Chase mortgage banker. Should you prefer to apply in person, you can look for a local Chase mortgage banker by searching on Chase’s website.

For those planning on getting a Chase mortgage, keep your eyes peeled for another bonus: Chase is offering $595 cash back when a mortgage holder enrolls in automatic payments from a Chase Checking account. To qualify for this bonus, you need to make the selection to receive paperless mortgage statements.
