This week Lucid Motors announced a global launch event on November 15th, where the company will showcase its entire range of Lucid Air electric vehicle sedans. However, we’ll finally get an update on the highly anticipated Lucid SUV, also known as the Project Gravity SUV.

For those unaware, Lucid Motors offers the Air Sedan in a few different models for upwards of $100k or more. The Lucid Air Dream Edition is $170,000 and takes on the likes of Tesla, Audi, and other luxury electric car makers.

In the blog post, Lucid Motors confirmed it would reveal a more affordable “Air Pure” model and the Air Touring EV during a virtual event on November 15th. Furthermore, The company will have physical versions of each car at the brand’s flagship store in Beverly Hills, California, on the same day.

During the event, we’ll also see more on the Lucid Air Sapphire and its triple motor setup, and this will mark the first time the entire Lucid Motors lineup is available to view by the public. And while that’s all exciting, we’re more interested in learning about the company’s first all-electric SUV.

Back in March, Lucid pushed back the debut of its Gravity SUV due to supply constraints and other issues, and we’ve only heard a few small murmurs about the vehicle since. However, we know that the Lucid Gravity SUV will be a high-end luxury SUV with the same features, styling, and technology as the Air lineup of EVs.

If the Lucid Gravity has the same platform and powertrain as its Air siblings, we can expect a cheaper single-motor Gravity with around 480+ horsepower with about 350 miles of range. Although, look for the company to start with a dual or triple-motor configuration reaching upwards of 1,000 HP, similar to the Air Dream Edition.

Depending on the motor and battery configuration, we could see a fancy luxury SUV with some off-road chops, plenty of power, and lots of range to give the Rivian R1T and other upcoming SUVs a run for their money.

Initially, we heard price suggestions between $85,000 and upwards of $170,00 or more, depending on the model. We’ve heard launch dates of 2023 or early 2024, but we’ll have to wait and see.
