Best family-friendly cars named by Kelley Blue Book.
US-based car research and valuation business Kelley Blue Book (KBB) has named its Best Family Cars of 2015 after an exhaustive testing regime.
The good news for Australian families is that the majority of the fifteen best family cars are available here and most start from under $30,000. This test also varied from most other family car comparisons in that models of different size and shape were included.
KBB executive editorial director Jack R. Nerad says this was done because families in 2015 come in different shapes and sizes and have different needs from their vehicle.
“Once again, we recruited families to assist our expert editors in this laborious evaluation, putting the Best Family Car candidates to a real-life test, including vehicles in two new car categories – full-size pickup trucks and compact cars,”
“Evaluated on comfort and driving, safety, child seats, cargo space, rear-seat entertainment, and extra features, this year’s group of winners are deemed the most worthy of family duty.”
